Book Club Bookmarks to Start the Season Off Right!

Summer is over(ish), at least it is over in the U.S. and kids are back to school! Get togethers are starting back up, and one of those is my favorite get together. . .Book Club! I’ve set goals for myself for reading, and joining a book club helps me get there. Hello everyone, it’s Cassie Trask, back with another project to share, and today it’s bookmarks.

If you’ve never participated in a book club, I totally encourage you to look for a local one. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other book lovers. OR you could even start one in your neighborhood! There are usually two types of people. . .those that read the book, and those that come for the food and wine, lol.

To make my very simple bookmarks, I grabbed the Ghoulfriends stamp and die set, because not only am I ready for Fall, but there are some darling little ghosties in this set that were just made for this project. The Mark My Words die has two perfectly sized bookmarks that I seem to go back to time and time again. To keep it simple, I used the Summer Holiday Basic paper pad, which is definitely one of my faves!

I stamped out my images onto some Alcohol Marker Cardstock, and colored them with alcohol markers. Everything was glued down using Gluebert Glue. I hope this makes you want to get inky and get those bookmarks ready for all of your book loving friends!
