Birthday Fun

Hi everyone!

It is Liz again today, back for my second guest designer spot this month and today I’ve brought you another birthday card! This one is filled with presents and fun. I have masked together five different stamps from the Wrapped With Love stamp set. I colored all the presents up with various peach, pink and green shades.

I then decided I wanted a statement number to go with and I decided to draw a large number 5 in the open space on the left hand side. It has been colored up in the matching peach and pink markers to create an ombre effect. If you like the idea of a big number and don’t want to draw it yourself, you can always use one of the dies from the Birthday Numbers die set.

The frames from the Deckled Paper Hugs die set are great, so I simply had to use one for this card as well! This time I opted for one of the spotted backgrounds from the Spring Breeze paper pad and put the coloured panel on foam tape for dimension.

The sentiment is from the Little Label Stamps set and I put it on matching green card stock to stand out from the number. I used foam tape for that one as well.
