birds of a feather..
Hello everyone!
Sindhu here. I hope you are all doing great.
Today, I have a card using my favorite stamp set- Wingman and coordinating dies.
Here is my card-
I started by heat embossing the speech bubbles in different coloured embossing powders at the bottom of a stitched rectangle panel. Then, I stamped the bird and coloured it with copic markers. I also sponged some clouds and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and adhered the strips on the panel.
When I was about to adhere the panel on the card base, I felt like doing something different. So, I used coordinating die to cut out the bird. Then, I positioned the rectangle panel on the card base, put the coordinating die I used into the negavative space of the panel and ran it through the die cutting maching. This will create an impression on the card base and helps to position the die easily. Now, You will see that you have a window on the card.
Now, adhere the rectangle panel on the card base lining up the negative space. Now add some foam tape vehind the image and taking the help of negative space, adhere it like you would put back the die cut while doing an in-lay technique.
I also sponged some clouds before adhering the image, on the inside and stamped a sentiment.
Here are couple more pictures..
Instead of white embossing powder, I used a light blue powder for a different look. Not sure if I like it though. Lol!
I hope you like the card and will give this look a try. 🙂
See you soon again. Have a great weekend.
Hugs..
