Big Hugs!

Hi Heffy Doodle friends! Welcome back to the blog. It’s Cassie here and I’m back with another card to share with you all 🙂 Today’s card mixes a couple Heffy Doodle products that I love to create the perfect card to send to a loved one. Let’s get to it!

I started today’s card by die cutting the stitched rectangle die from the Clover Frame die set from 110 lb white card stock. Then I took the small envelopes from the Yappy Mail stamp set and stamped them within the stitched areas of the rectangle die. If you look closely you can tell I didn’t get them perfect, but really you can’t even tell because of everything else going on with the card. I used a light tan color so it wasn’t too busy with the other elements I planned on putting on the card as well.

I used a sentiment from Everyday Sentiment Duos on top of the die cut panel and stamped it in VersaMark and heat embossed dark gray embossing powder over top. Next I stamped a bunch of the cutest images from Yappy Mail including the pups, mail and packages and the mailbox. I colored them all in and die cut them out with the coordinating dies. I love how cute these turned out 🙂

To create a base for my scene I die cut a stitched oval and did some ink blending to create a sky and the ground for everything to sit on. Then it was just a matter of arranging my images on it. I wanted it to look playful and cut so I stacked everything up in bunches, and those puppies had to help each other to reach the mailbox slot 🙂 The oval was attached with foam tape to give it a little dimension and stick out.
