Belated Party Palooza!

We’re going to combine two of my favorite things in today’s card: Stitching on cards and CAKE.

Let’s get right to the card!

Begin by stitching any kind of background pattern you want on your cross stitch die. I used the Stitched Circle Wise die from Paper Smooches to create this background, and I just cross stitched rows of mint green and yellow.

After the stitching is done, Mount the stitched panel with foam tape on the back and then lay it down on to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base. You can then either add the circle matte piece as well, or leave it off. I chose to include it because I thought it added a nice finished edge.

Stamp some images from the Party Palooza set with copic-safe black ink on to white cardstock. Then color them with your copic color combos of choice and then use the matching dies to cut them out.

Using a liquid glue, adhere the images on to the stitched panel and then add your sentiment at the bottom. I chose a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiment Duos set, and I matted the sentiment strip with a copic colored piece of white cardstock to tie everything together.
