Be My Valentine

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Today I’m sharing a super fun Valentine project featuring these cuties from Chimply The Best stamp set. Now, let’s get started!

First, I stamped all the images from the Popping By, Chimply The Best and Beary Big Heart stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies.

I took two pieces of white card stock and cut them using the largest and second largest heart from Stitched Hearts Dies. I ink blended Distress Oxide Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo. I then splattered it using gold watercolor paint.

I stamped the sentiment from Special Day Sentiment stamp set using clear embossing ink pad and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I adhered all the images and the sentiment using Glubert craft glue. Finally, I adhered the front panel to the back panel using the 3mm deep foam tape. Voila! Valentine heart shape card is done! I really love how this turned out, I hope you like it too!
