Penguin Christmas Party

Good morning! This is Heather – and today I have a fun little penguin Christmas party to share with you! These little Heffy penguins are having a blast decorating their Christmas tree – don’t they look so happy?!?!?

I started off by stamping and coloring my cute penguins from Wanna Build a Snowman in a super soft color scheme that I happened across on Pinterest (you can see it HERE if you’re interested). I then die cut them with their coordinating dies, and put them into a little scene. Then I set out to build the rest of the card around them!

I decided to place them on a circle die cut with the fabulous new Stitched Circle Dies – I LOVE this set! So many sizes and the stitching is on both sides which is so handy! I added a sentiment on the bottom using Holiday Sentiment Duos stamped on the largest Stitched Strips of Ease – and stamped in a deep gray to match the color scheme of the card. Next, I chose a pattern paper (an older one from my stash) that seemed to fit it all, die cut it with Imperial Stitched Rectangles, then adhered everything with foam adhesive. Finally, I added a few white jewels as a finishing touch for a bit of sparkle!
