Hello Squeakheart
Hello squeakheart! Welcome back to Heffy Doodle for another post! It’s Cassie here, and I’ve got a card to share with you today, and a video of how I made it 🙂 I’m super excited to share it with you. Let me know what you think if you give it a watch! If you haven’t guessed yet, I used the adorable Hello Squeakheart stamp set with the awesome Hey die. I originally made this card for when we went to Creativation, but I haven’t had a chance to share it with you all just yet. That changes today!
The card was a fun one to make, so I had a lot of fun remaking it. Plus it’s a very simple design, easy for mass production!
Isn’t that little guy so cute? Lately I can’t get enough of yellow and light blue together either, so I knew I had to remake this card for you all. I started by masking stripes on an A2 size card panel so that I could ink blend some Distress Oxide ink over it. I spritzed those with my Distress Sprayer and got the fun, splotchy stripes you see here!
Next I stamped one of the cute mice from the Hello Squeakheart set and colored him with my Copic Markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut him out. For my sentiment, I die cut three of the Hey dies and glued them together for a more dimensional look. Then I stamped squeakheart in VersaMark ink and heat embossed white embossing powder over top. I used the Strips of Ease dies to cut it out so that it was perfectly lined up!
I adhered the hey with liquid glue and the mouse and sentiment strip with some foam tape to my card panel and it was complete! The only thing left was to adhere it to a card base. I hope you enjoyed the card for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!
