You’re so Mice to Me!

Today’s card is all about unlikely friend pairings! Is there any rivalry in the world more classic than cats and mice?

But guess what?! In the Heffy Doodle stamping world–even cats and mice can be friends!

I stamped the images from the Best in the Mewniverse stamp set and the Hello Squeakheart stamp set on to white cardstock in copic safe black ink. I colored the images with my copics and then used a circle die to cut out a circle panel. I added a little bit of shading underneath my kitty cat and mouse in order to avoid making it look like they were floating in mid-air!

I then took a scrap piece of patterned paper from a My Favorite Things pack and trimmed down a scrap piece. I also trimmed a small strip of white cardstock and colored it with the same yellow copic marker that I colored the cheese images with.

I glued these two scrap pieces on to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch white card base. I then applied some foam tape on to my circle kitty and mouse panel and then placed it on to the card.

I stamped a sentiment from the Hello Squeakheart set on to another strip of white cardstock and then used the stitched strips of ease die to cut it out. I popped up that sentiment strip with a piece of foam tape and adhered it to the card to finish it off!
