It’s Cake Time!
Hey there, Heffy Doodlers!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
I’ve got a super simple card for you that involves using the ever-versatile Jet Alphabetters stamp set. I drew some lines on to my piece of white cardstock in faint pencil. This helps me know where the middle of the card is. And it also helps me center the words.
I stamped out the phrase and then stamped one of the croc images from the Happy Snappy Crocs stamp set on to scrap cardstock. I colored him with copic markers and then used the coordinating die set to cut him out. I paced the piece of cake in his arms to really show the depth of joy that this crocodile has over eating cake. Can you relate to him? I know I can!
I trimmed down my sentiment panel by using a square die from the Lawn Fawn small cross-stitched square stackables set. I also cut and scored a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base.
I then cut out a piece of patterned scrap paper and trimmed it down to lay as a matte on my card base. I mounted my square sentiment panel with a piece of fun foam and then glued it on to my card base. I then put some foam tape on to my crocodile image and placed him at the bottom of the card.
And that finishes off the card for today! Thanks again for stopping by!
