Breaking News – Thanks for the memories
After seven years of being a part of this amazing crafty industry, I am interrupting your scrolling pleasure with a surprise announcement – the upcoming closure of Heffy Doodle.
I am not writing this with sadness or regret, because this closure is a choice rather than a necessity. They say that all good things must come to an end, and for me, it is indeed time. Time for a change.
I am tremendously grateful for the journey I have had with Heffy Doodle. Grateful for the many relationships I have forged with valued customers, talented designers, loyal retail partners, and with many, many crafty friends. This small ‘accidental’ company has been an adventure that has provided me with opportunities to travel, to be on TV, to be published in magazines, be featured in podcasts and even to teach across the world.
I have taken small ideas and sketches, and worked hard to develop these into final, working products, complete with beautiful packaging. I have taught myself everything from scratch, and I am proud of everything I have achieved. There have been highs and lows. Blood, sweat, and tears… as well as many mistakes, meltdowns, frustrations, and fears – but all these have been outshone by a million memories filled with love and laughter. There is nothing quite like seeing one of my doodles be turned into a beautiful work of art when perusing your amazing crafty creations!
Therefore, with a heart full of gratitude, I am announcing the closure of Heffy Doodle. Over the next few weeks, all items in Heffy HQ must go, so please enjoy shopping for crafty goodies at discounted prices. Keep an eye out for newsletters and social media updates and please share these with your crafty friends.
In a celebration of my Heffy Doodle journey, I will also be sharing some ‘Happy Heffy Memories’ on Instagram – photos, videos, and perhaps even some live streams. I hope that you will join me as I take a walk down memory lane, sharing highs and lows, and giving you a peek behind the scenes of a small crafty company.
