Creating a Fall Themed Birthday Card with a Sneak Peak at Some New Products!

Hello! It’s Jordy here sharing a video featuring a sneaky peak at some of our new release. I’m showing you how I make a gorgeous Fall/Autumn themed birthday card that’s sure to put a smile on someones face!

I started with my background. Using the stunning new Stitched Leaves Backdrop Die, which I cut from some Bristol Smooth Cardstock, I ink blended it with some Distress Oxide Inks in Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Abandoned Coral, for a beautiful Autumnal look.

Next, I took the Bonnie Birch Trees Die (this one will be a staple in your stash!) and cut it from some Kraft cardstock. I snipped off the two trees in the middle to create a more open look, then used the thought bubble from the fun new Look Who’s Talking Die set, to create a canopy of Autumn leaves for my trees.

I layered my inked background behind my trees and stamped out my fun sentiment which comes from the adorable Mischief Makers Stamp Set. This one is such a cute set for Autumn but can definitely be used all year round.

All that was left, was to colour up some of the gorgeous images from the Mischief Makers stamp set and adhere them to my beautiful background. I used some of the leaves from the stamp set to scatter around the scene to add to that Autumnal feel and didn’t it turn out cute?
