New Release Blog Hop
Hi Heffydoodlers!
Today we have our new release blog hop and it is filled with inspiration and a chance to win a $25 USD gift certificate + free shipping to the Heffy Doodle store. So to begin we have Ali with a gorgeous card!
Ali here and I’m so excited to be joining the blog hop for Release 2 from Heffy Doodle Stamps! This simple but striking card is perfect to highlight the perfection of that sweet little bear from Beary Big Heart and the super versatile letters from Jet Alphabetters
I began this card by taking a white card panel and using a circle die, ran it through my big shot so that the circle cut was offset slightly to the right of the panel. I then placed a small strip of My Favorite Things paper pad Black & White (SSS) down the left-hand side. I used the letters from the Jet Alphabetters to stamp out “love you” with Memento Tuxedo blank ink (SSS). Of course, you could further personalize with a name as well!
I then stamped the bear holding the heart from the Beary Big Heart set on copic-friendly paper and coloured him in using Copics – browns (E31,E33,E55) and reds (R17,R24,R29). I added detail to the bear with a white Signo Gel pen (SSS) and die cut him with the coordinating die. I placed the panel on the front of a white card base, placed the bear in the circle cut-out (popped up with 3-d foam) and to finish off I covered the heart with some glossy accents (SSS).
Simple but so sweet!
