You ruffle my feathers

Hey there Heffy friends, it’s DT Ashlee here to share some new inspiration with you!!

Today my card features the Flock star stamp set paired with some other fun Heffy Doodle products along with bright colours and of course a touch of bling!!

To create this card I started with a blue card stock that I inked the Zebra stripe stencil on using Catherine Pooler ink. I then thought it would be fun to use liquid glue to add bling to the background so I randomly added glue following the curves of the zebra stripes and covered it in WOW! sparkles!!

Using the Tag shaker die I die cut two tag bases and a top frame from bright colours before adhering them together in an offset position. A bit of twine through the top made it a perfect tag ready for adding some images….

I wanted to add a sentiment that popped so I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder before cutting it into little sentiment pieces!! I adhered them onto the tag using foam tape on different angels across the tag….

Now it was time to add our Flock stars!!…..

These were stamped, coloured with Spectrum noir tri-blend markers and die cut before adhering onto the tag. A white pen was used to add some highlights to the images also. The Flock stars are ready to party!!

Now do you know what time it is?!

Let’s BRING ON THE BLING! (Well extra bling being that we added sparkles bling also to this one, there’s never too much bling right?!).

A touch of Heffy Doodle sequins from the Tickled pink mix adhered using micro glue dots finished the whole card off nicely.
