A Springy Light Up Card
Does it feel much like Spring where you are at? Hey there, it’s Cassie Trask, and I am back guesting today on the Heffy Doodle Blog. I wanted to share a fun light up card with you using the Big Bug Hugs stamps and dies.

I started out by blending my background using the Cloudy Skies Stencil, and when that was finished I die my circle in the middle where my Halo Light from Pear Blossom Press would be. I die cut the Leafy Laurel die and ink blending some Cracked Pistachio ink on it. Next I die cut the Curved Banner, ink blended on it, and stamped my sentiment from the Roundabout Sentiments stamp set. I attached down the Halo Light and used the Heffy Doodle Foam tape to secure my panel to my base.

I assembled everything finished the outside by using the Truly Outrageous Sequin Mix for the flower centers. Naturally, I had so add a little something to the inside, so I stamped my sentiment and added a bee from the Big Bug Hugs set.

I do have a video to share with you showing the entire process of putting this card together. You can watch it here or over on my YouTube Channel.
I hope this tutorial has you feeling all of the spring vibes and makes you want to get a little inky today. I’m so glad you stopped by!Cassie Trask
