Get To Know The Birthday Numbers Die Set with Tasha | Video Inspiration

Birthday Numbers
To start, I wanted to share how versatile the fabulous new Birthday Numbers die set is, because on top of the numbers and conjunctions, you also get little pieces to turn those numbers into either balloons or candles!
In my video I make examples of both as well as sharing two different techniques for adding a little extra colour/shading. Woohoo!
Balloon In A Box
- Die cut your number and the little balloon knot piece from Grape Soda cardstock and add shading using Copic Markers. Adhere the knot onto the bottom of the number and emboss in 3 layers of clear embossing powder.
- Create the Double Slider mechanism and attach the balloon to it via acetate. Set it aside for now.
- Create the large gift box using the Present Shaker die set and some fabulous specialty cardstocks.
- The stitched panel die from Brooke 3d Box Card cuts the perfect size backing to our scene. Die cut from Cookie Monster cardstock and ink blend using the Lots of Happy stencil. Cut another panel from Huckleberry cardstock then cut it down with one of the Lovely Little Borders Dies. You also need to cut the thumb notch for the Double Slider from this panel.
- Use foam adhesive to adhere the slider mechanism between the Gift and your blue panel.
- Stamp, colour & die cut images from the Wrapped with Love set and add them to create your scene.
- Trim down an a2 panel of Grape Soda cardstock and ink blend over it with the same stencil. Stamp a small sentiment directly onto the panel. Adhere the slider piece and embellish with Starry Night Sequin Mix.

Blow Out The Candles
