A Note to Say Thank You
Hello and Happy New Year to You!
Tallie here with you for my first post this year – I hope you all enjoyed the festive break. My card today brings in a little rainbow after all that red, gold and green, combined with the Just a Note stamps, to say thank you to those who were generous this holiday season!
I started out by stamping the notepads onto some alcohol marker friendly blending cardstock with some Jet Black ink. I varied the placement, though made sure they were all facing up the right way.
As you can see from the photos, I used a lot of markers to colour this simple design! I chose a pastel palette and used at least three markers to get the dimension. I used some grey markers to add some shadows around the notepads to lift them up off the page. Can you spot the shadow mistake I made when I wasn’t fully concentrating??
I added a sentiment from the Whatcha Saying stamps in one of the full sized notepads.
The finishing touch was to add a mixture of Heffy Doodle sequins from all the packs to fill up the gaps and add some extra bling to the card!
