Let’s Hang Out

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Today I’m sharing a fun interactive pop up box card featuring these cuties from the Let’s Hang Out stamp set. Now, let’s get started!!

First, I stamped all the images from the Let’s Hang Out stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. I die cut two pieces of purple card stock using the largest main frame die from the Big Shadow Box die. I then took one of the card stock and used the double stitched window to cut the center. Next, I die-cut the scalloped frame and adhered it to the opening in the front.

To help me build the scene, I cut a white card stock using the inside panel dies and cut it using the cloud border from the Slimline Scenery Dies. I then color it using Copic marker and added some chunky glitters.

For the background, I cut a white card stock using the scalloped rectangle die and ink blended Distress Oxide Black Soot, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry. I then splattered it with gold watercolor paint. I die-cut a gold card stock using the Celestial Corner dies and added the stars to the background panel. I stamped the sentiment on a black card stock using Clear Embossing Ink Pad and heat-embossed it using white embossing powder. 

Finally, I assembled all the panels for the box using double sided tape and used Glubert craft glue to adhered all the images and the sentiment.
