Video: Mix & Match Releases for a Halloween Card
Hello Friends! Happy Sunday! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share with you today on the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel. This month, I am showing how you can mix and match from Heffy Doodle’s releases to create a Halloween card – even from non-Halloween products!
I have created a unique background using “ink smooshing” and splatter; you’ll never make the same card twice with this kind of technique! Then add in subtle, stitched details using the Stitched Hearts Background Die (one of my favorite cover plate dies from Heffy Doodle).
The sentiment is the Hang in There Jumbo Sentiment Dies which was previously released and went really well with the Koality Hugs set, but I think it’s even better with the Let’s Hang Out stamp set! I think pairing these two products together make a really cute and punny Halloween card.
I hope you enjoy today’s video! If you are not comfortable with ink smooshing and splattering, you can always use a sheet of the Fright Night Patterned Paper Pad. I used the Enamel Dots from the collection to add embellishments to the card, too.
