Sparkle Everywhere Infinity Shaker Card
Hi crafty friends! Welcome to another Color Me Happy Wednesday with Claudia (@mrsclocards). Today I wanna share this infinity shaker card I made using the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns stamps and dies set and two of the new Sparkle Mixes: Truly Outrageous and Royal Mist. It’s been a lot since I made my last shaker card and I was eager to try the new sequin mixes!
I started with the background: I took a piece of Heffy Doodle White Cardstock and used the biggest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die to cut out two rectangles. I ink blended the first one using Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Salty Ocean. I did it just on the right because I knew I was going to cover the left side and I also fade it a bit on the borders to give it more interest. When I was happy with the result, I splattered both rectangles with Gansai Tambi White Pearlescent watercolor and set them aside to dry.
On a sheet of Alcohol Marker Friendly Cardstock I stamped the images from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns stamp set and I colored them using Copic Markers in the following colors.
COPIC COLORS
PINK: RV000, RV21, RV23, RV25
VIOLET: V000, V12, V15, V17
LILAC: BV0000, BV00, BV02, BV04
BLUE: B00, B02, B05
UNICORNS: E00, R20
I added highlights and sparkles using a white gel pen and I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.
I took the plain rectangle (that I previously splattered with pearlescent watercolor) and I trimmed it down using the new super handy Heffy Doodle Mini Paper Trimmer, then I stamped the sentiment from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns stamp set using black ink and I added little dots using Copic Markers and a gold gel pen.
Now the funniest part! I took a stamp pocket and inserted the ink blended rectangle on it, I filled it with Truly Outrageous (I took the yellow sequins out as they weren’t matching the background) & Royal Mist Sparkle Mixes and carefully sealed it on the back. I glued the sentiment panel over the shaker part and I finally added the colored images.
I hope you liked my project and see you soon!
Happy crafting.
