Slimline Forest Friends
Hey crafty friends! I’m back again with another Mix and Match Monday! I had a fun idea to make my own forest using the Tree-mendous Peek-a-boo Die! So, I cut out 4 of the trees, colored them with Sand Castle and Over Coffee inks, and then ran them through the die cutting machine with the Woodgrain Texture Die.
Next, I blended my slimline background with Flirty Fuchsia, Party Dress, Tiki Torch, and Glitz inks. I also created some splatters using the Maker Forte Splatter Stamp and spritzing with water.
Next, I stamped my images from the Deer to Me, Hootiful, and Nuts About You stamp sets. I colored my little cuties in with Copic markers and then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next, I blended a piece of scrap cardstock with the same inks I used for the background. I then die cut the little leaves out with the Tree-mendous Peek-a-boo Dies.
Finally, I assembled my card using 3D foam squares and liquid glue.
Here are some close-ups of the finished card!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Heffy Doodle Blog today! I hope you enjoyed this post and will come back soon! ‘Til then! Xx, Amanda
