Jump for Joy

Hello, crafty friends and Happy Monday!  Did you get your order in for the New Release?!  I am NUTS about these cute squirrels!  They’re so stinkin’ cute!  Today, I want to share this Mix and Match shaker card with you that uses the Deer to Me and Nuts About You stamp sets.

To create this card, I’m starting with my background.  I just love the trees from the Deer to Me stamp set, so I’m staggering them along my background.  After coloring them with Copic markers, I’m using my new Falling Leaves Stencil to create some leaves in the background with some orange, red, and yellow inks.

Next up, I’m going to create my leaves for the shaker part of the card.  The Tree-mendous Peekaboo Die has tons of little leaves that come with it.  I took a piece of white cardstock and blended the yellow, red, and orange inks onto it.  Then I cut all my little leaves out with my die cutting machine.

After assembling my shaker element using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the Deep Foam Tape, I’m ready to stamp and die cut my Nuts About You critters and adhere them to the front of my shaker.

For my sentiment, I die cut it with one of the small Stitched Rounded Imperial Rectangle Dies.

All done!  Such a fun fall shaker card!
