Tag, You’re It! – December Challenge

Hey crafty friends, It’s Amanda from Pear Blossom Press again, here to announce the winner of the November challenge and issue a new one for December! I’d like to thank everyone who entered the Heffy Doodlers Mix & Match challenge last month. We used stamps and dies from multiple sets to make some really fun cards! Make sure you’ve joined the Heffy Doodlers group on Facebook. You can share your projects and meet new crafty friends. I try to share Lesley’s weekly videos there too, as soon as she goes live.

Congratulations to Beata June for winning November’s challenge! I love her creative holiday card. Instead of sandcastles, her seagulls and crustaceans are building a snowman (or would that be a sandman?), and Christmas tree. Too cute! And the long slimline card gave her plenty of real estate to build the scene on. You can see Beata’s card, along with all of the other entries in the Facebook album. All entries (except those by Lesley and the current design team) were assigned a number, in order of posting. We used random.org to choose the winning number.

With present wrapping season almost upon us, I thought it would be fun to make tags for this month’s challenge. Plus, I was so inspired by all of the fantastic designs I saw in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags last month! Did you follow along? If you missed it, the Heffy Doodle team came up with some really cute tags; take a look!

Today, I’m sharing a pair of tags to help inspire you. The first is a shaker tag. You can find all of the details for how this came together, as well as a video of it in action (Mrs. Claus even dances!) over on my blog.

Don’t have the Tag Along die set to create fancy tags? No problem! Pull out your circle dies, and you can make this quick and easy tag, in no time. (Hint, use pattern paper for the background, so you only need to color your focal images.)

Tag, You’re It! Now it’s your turn. Using Heffy Doodle products (mostly), create a tag for the challenge. To enter, go to the Heffy Doodlers Facebook Group and post a picture of your project in the December 2020 Challenge album (it will be pinned to the top). Enter as many tags as you like. The winner will be randomly chosen from all entries posted prior to Midnight (UT) on January 3rd, 2021. The prize is a £35.00 voucher to the Heffy Doodle Shop! You are not limited to tags for packages. Feel free to incorporate tags into your cards, scrapbook pages, home decor projects, etc. Just be sure there is at least one tag featured, and that the bulk of the stamps and dies used are from Heffy Doodle.
