Snow Dog
Hello friends! It’s Ashley with a sweet winter slimline that is three small scenes in one! I just love the Wanna Build a Snowman set for winter time, and I couldn’t resist pairing it with one of the new doggy sets!
I started by die cutting three Stitched Squares from white cardstock. I used the First Snow stencil along with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to make the snow hill and sky in each square, then splattered white paint across them for a snowy feel. I attached the three squares to a piece of white cardstock cut with the Slimline Pull Tab die. I then added the whole thing to an Oyster Shell card base.
I stamped the dogs from Hot Diggity Dog and the snowman pieces from Wanna Build a Snowman on white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink then colored with Copics. I also stamped the top of Santa from Santa’s Village and fussy cut his hat off after coloring it in. I added the images to the card, starting with the dog digging up some snow and ending with the dog and his finished snowman.
I stamped the sentiment from Wanna Build a Snowman in VersaMark ink on Oreo Crunch cardstock and added it to the card with one of the new Foam Adhesive Strips. I added some sparkly Nuvo Drops to the snow line and the snowmen to accent the snow. For a finishing touch, I grabbed a few different types of snowflake sequins and scattered them around the front.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
