Sending Unicorns
Hello friends! It’s Ashley with a post featuring some new products from the upcoming release! Have you placed your order yet? Make sure you pre-order by Friday for your free gift! For my card today, I used the new Fluffy Puffy Unicorns set to make a happy rainbow card that’s perfect for any occasion!
I started by using the Cloudy Skies stencil on white cardstock with Pinkfresh Studio Sky Blue ink to make some light cloud shapes in the background. I then used the new Head in the Clouds stencil with Pinkfresh Studio Summer Shower ink for some smaller, darker clouds. I die cut my stenciled background with Imperial Stitched Rectangles and added it to a piece of Oreo Crunch cardstock cut just a bit larger for a skinny border. I used several colors of Pinkfresh Studio ink to create a rainbow ombre background and adhere it to my cloud background.
I grabbed the new Rainbow Builder stencil and the same colors of Pinkfresh Studio ink from my rainbow background and made my rainbow. I cut it out with the coordinating die and added it to the card. I used the Silver Linings Cloud Border dies to make two larger cloud pieces, blended a bit of Sky Blue ink on the bottoms, and added them to the card, overlapping my rainbow.
I stamped my images from Fluffy Puffy Unicorns onto Heffy Doodle Alcohol Marker cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics before cutting out with the matching dies. I added the images to the card with foam tape for dimension. I stamped part of the sentiment from Fluffy Puffy Unicorns with Tuxedo Black. I finished the sentiment by using the “rainbow” word die from the Rainbow Builder die set on another piece of rainbow ink blended paper and Oreo Crunch cardstock. I stacked the die cuts, slightly offsetting them, for a dimensional sentiment. For a final touch, I added a few iridescent jewels for some sparkle.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
