You are my Lucky Charm!
Hello Friends Waleska here better known as craftinglovew, so happy to be Guest Designing this month for one of my favorite companies in the world!!! I created two lucky and happy cards for you today, with the adorable Lucky Friends stamp set and the beautiful Rays The Roof Stencil, I hope you like them.
CARD DETAILS #1
For my first card I wanted to use a lot of green and gold, so I used gold embossing powder and Versamark Clear Embossing ink to stamp a bunch of clovers as well as the sweet Leprechaun and also the Pot and coins from the set. I colored them with copic markers.
I then used the Rays of Roof stencil to create the background for my card. I used oxide inks in colors Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. The first layer on the front of my card was blended with the Twisted Citron Oxide Ink, I then used the stencil to create the rays. I started the blending from the bottom to the top with Luky Clover trying to make the green color fade into the yellow and added some gold splashes with watercolors.
I hand cut all the images and started playing around the images before adhering them. I wanted to create the feeling of falling clovers. I first stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my front panel with Versafine Clear Nocturn ink.
I then adhere the clovers on the top of the front panel, I decided to put the leprechaun sitting on the pot with some gold coins at the bottom and some clovers falling on him, I love the gold sparkling look of all the images. I adhere this panel to an orange card base for a cohesive look of the colors I used on the entire card.
CARD DETAILS #2
For my second card I used the same Lucky Friends stamp set and the Rays The Roof Stencil, but this time I used this stencil the other way around so the rays come from the upper part of the front of the card.
I used various oxide ink colors: Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Candied Apple and Worn Lipstick and lots Heffy Memo Tape to mask the different rainbow colors I wanted for this happy card. I love sparkle and to add lots of it, I apply Versamark Clear Embossing Ink to the different colors of the stenciled parts of the front panel, I removed the stencil and added glittery embossing powder. It looks beautiful and the best thing it doesn’t rub off.
To create a harmonic look on the card I also added glitter embossing powder to some parts of the colored Leprechauns and Clovers with a Versamark pen.
As a result you have a very happy and sparkly card to wish luck to someone in need. To finish this card I added the front panel to a black card base and also added the sentiment with white embossing powder to a black strip of cardstock.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, as I said before I am super excited to be sharing some inspiration with you today with the amazing Heffy Doodle products, I hope you have a great day and remember to stay CREATIVE!
