Wedding Bears

Hi Heffydoodlers! Ali here with a Wedding card that I made with those cute bears from Unbearable Without You set (SSS/ATC) from Release 1 HDS. I really wanted to show you how much fun and how easy it is to extend the use of your stamps via a few slight modifications. It is also heading into Wedding Season here in Australia and I have been making a few wedding cards lately, giving me the idea for this card.

I started by stamping out 2 of the bears from the Unbearable Without You set & die cutting them with corresponding dies.  I used a Copic Muti liner (SSS) to draw the suit lines and dress lines for the male and female bears.  For the female bear, I drew an skirt on a separate piece of paper and fussy-cut it out.  I coloured the images with light brown and cool-grey copics, added detail with a white gel pen and some tiny pearls for a necklace.  I adhered the skirt to the female bear and popped up the “hem” with some 3d foam.  I added some tulle netting for her veil and underskirt.  This gave some beautiful and very cute detail to the bears.

I cut a square of white card and embossed it with the We r Memory Keepers geometric embossing folder, backing this with a silver piece of card.  I die cut adhered the Love sentiment (from a Heidi Swapp Lovely die & trimmed) and the bears above it to the white embossed piece. All of this was then adhered to a square base-card.

Hope you enjoyed this card and hope it inspires you to get the most out of your stamps with some small additions. You could dress these little cuties in anything you like – sport team colours or different sport outfits, bathers for summer, christmas outfits etc. would be perfect too!! The options are endless!!

Happy Heffydoodling!
