Video: Creating a Grassy Scene

One of my favorite cards to create is a simple scene.  It’s Cassie here, back with another Heffy Doodle card video to share with you.  If you’d like to see exactly how I made this card, you can check out the video over on the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel.

My scene is a pretty simple one.  I cut several layers of grass using the Grassy Lass Border die and some green cardstock.  The edges were sponged with a green dye ink, and the panels were attached to a green base.  All of the adorable little pup images were stamped and colored using the same gray Copics in a couple of different combinations (W4 & W6, as well as W6 & W8).  They were all die cut out using the coordinating dies and attached to the card panel using liquid glue.  The sentiment was stamped onto some Oreo Crunch Cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I couldn’t stop there.  I had to decorate the inside with the leftover pieces to create yet another scene inside!

I love how easily this card came together, but yet it still looks like it took lots of time to create.  I hope you enjoyed my card for today, and be sure to head over to the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel to see the whole process.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
